jumbo troll

Definition

An attention-seeking spectator at a sporting event whose entire goal is to get themselves on the jumbotron screen, often by dancing obnoxiously or waving signs relentlessly. They're there to be seen, not to watch the game.

Look at those jumbo trolls in the front row—they haven't stopped dancing since tip-off.
