Definition

A lifting technique where you bounce the weight off your body or the floor between reps instead of pausing and resetting, conserving energy but sacrificing control. The express lane of questionable form.

Example Usage

His deadlift PR doesn't count—he was doing touch-and-go reps and bouncing the plates off the floor like a basketball.

Fun Fact

In official powerlifting competitions, deadlifts must start from a dead stop on the floor, with touch-and-go reps resulting in disqualification.
