Definition
The SI unit of electrical conductance—basically, the measure of how easily electricity flows through something. Named after Werner von Siemens, because even electrical properties need a dead guy's name to sound important.
Example Usage
The conductor's electrical conductance was measured at 5 siemens, indicating excellent conductivity.
