Definition

A round slice cut perpendicular to the length of a vegetable. It's the lazy person's knife cut that somehow still looks professional.

Example Usage

Slice the cucumber into rondelles for the salad.

French, meaning 'small round' or 'disk'

Fun Fact

Rondelles are one of the only cuts that look good even when slightly imperfect.
