Definition

Excessive inward curvature of the lumbar spine, often caused by weak core muscles or poor posture. The 'stuck in a permanent pelvic thrust' condition.

Example Usage

My excessive lordosis from years of poor posture is finally improving thanks to core stability work.

Origin

From Greek 'lordosis' (bending backward); anatomical/medical terminology.

Fun Fact

Hyperlordosis is common in bodybuilders with underdeveloped core stability relative to their leg strength.
