hide and seek

Definition

A classic children's game in which one player (the seeker) closes their eyes and counts while others hide; the seeker then searches to find and tag the hidden players, who attempt to reach 'base' and declare themselves safe. Variations include freeze tag, elimination rules, and different safe-zone systems.

Example Usage

Every weekend, the neighborhood kids meet up for a few rounds of hide and seek in the park.
