Definition

An acronym for Greatest Of All Time, used to describe elite athletes and also to start arguments that have literally never been resolved in the history of sports bars. Every generation has a GOAT, which mathematically means none of them are.

Example Usage

"Calling someone the GOAT is the fastest way to make half the room agree with you and the other half threaten to leave, which is basically the sports version of talking politics at Thanksgiving."

The process of removing oxygen from blood or water, basically turning your red stuff blue (or making your aquarium a fish graveyard). In fitness contexts, it's what happens to your blood after your muscles greedily steal all the oxygen during that last brutal set. Think of it as oxygen's eviction notice from your bloodstream.
