Defensive Striker

Definition

A sports term for a striker who's so spectacularly bad at scoring that fans have literally rewritten the rules of football to justify his existence on the field. It's the athletic equivalent of giving someone a participation trophy.

Example Usage

Sure, he hasn't scored in two seasons, but he's a defensive striker so that's totally fine.
