Definition

A malicious script disguised as an innocent text message or chat that crashes or completely bricks your phone (or at least your messaging app). It's basically digital sabotage for people who peaked in 2004.

Some script kiddies keep sending virtex messages, thinking they're hackers when they're really just annoying.
