Definition
A workout structure where you progressively increase then decrease intensity, reps, or distance in a triangular pattern. It's mathematically elegant and physically exhausting.
Example Usage
We ran pyramids on the track: 200m, 400m, 800m, 1600m, 800m, 400m, 200m—my legs hate geometry now.

Pyramid workouts can be done 'up' only, 'down' only, or full pyramid—each variation has its own special kind of suffering.
