Pokemon Widow

Definition

A spouse who has effectively lost their partner to Pokémon Go, usually while the partner is staring at a phone in a parking lot. It's dark humor about people who would rather hunt virtual critters than face the real world. Tragic, yes, but the Pokédex is probably complete.

Example Usage

Ever since Greg started raiding gyms at 2 a.m., Lisa has been a Pokémon widow in every way except the paperwork.
