Definition

Internet so painfully slow and unreliable that it feels intentionally designed to ruin your day. Named after the epitome of weak connectivity, it's the WiFi equivalent of dial-up's embarrassing cousin.

Example Usage

The only internet available at my cabin is mitchnet, so I have to drive to the coffee shop in town to stream anything.

Splitting a massive database into smaller, more manageable pieces (shards) distributed across multiple servers. It's the database equivalent of not putting all your eggs in one basket, except the eggs are your users' data and the baskets are expensive servers.
