Definition

A Lovecraftian invocation calling to ancient cosmic horrors, often used in the phrase 'Iä! Iä! Cthulhu fhtagn!' (roughly 'Hail, hail, Cthulhu sleeps!'). Internet culture has repurposed it to describe anything sufficiently badass, evil, or gloriously weird.
