Definition
Affectionate or mocking term for artillery personnel, particularly those who serve on howitzer crews. They make things explode from far away and have the hearing loss to prove it.

The gun bunnies provided excellent fire support—dropped rounds right on target all day.

Despite the cute nickname, artillerymen cause more casualties than any other branch of ground combat forces, making them adorable in a terrifying way.
