Fat Kid

Definition

A football term for any player on the offensive or defensive line—the big, strong folks in the trenches who do the heavy lifting. Despite the name, it's got nothing to do with body composition and everything to do with blocking.

Example Usage

Coach put all our fat kids on the line and suddenly our pass protection improved dramatically.
