Definition

A two-player strategy game where contestants drop colored discs into a vertical grid, attempting to form a line of four matching pieces horizontally, vertically, or diagonally. The first to achieve four in a row wins.

My little brother beat me at Connect Four three times in a row, so I think he's finally mastered the game.

Origin

Invented by Howard Wexler and Fred Kroll, released by Milton Bradley in 1974.

Fun Fact

Connect Four has been weakly solved by computers—with perfect play from both sides, the first player can force a draw.
