Definition
A marketing asset or product line bearing a distinctive name and identity—basically the corporate equivalent of a really good reputation, except trademarked and worth millions. It's what companies desperately want you to associate with quality, though sometimes they settle for name recognition and celebrity endorsements.
Example Usage
Apple and Nike are the top brands in their industries.
