Example Usage

My squat's been stalling, so I added more accessory work for my glutes and hamstrings to strengthen the weak points.

Origin

Strength training programming, distinguishing primary compound movements from supporting exercises

Fun Fact

Many powerlifters credit accessory work with injury prevention more than the main lifts, despite it being treated as an afterthought.
