Definition

To move quickly with a loud buzzing sound; to enlarge or magnify something visually. It also refers to Zoom Video Communications' video conferencing platform, which became ubiquitous for remote work and virtual meetings, especially post-2020.

The camera will zoom in on her face during the interview, or 'Let's schedule a Zoom call for next Tuesday.'
