Trivial Pursuit

Definition

A trivia board game where players move around a circular board answering questions from various categories (such as History, Science, Arts & Literature, Geography, Entertainment, and Sports) to collect colored pie-shaped tokens and reach the center to win. Success depends entirely on factual knowledge and recall.

Created by Canadian journalists Scott Abbott and Chris Haney in 1979 and published by Selchow & Righter.
