Definition
Boastful, provocative trash talk aimed at an opponent to rattle them before or during a contest, usually delivered with a lot more confidence than skill. It occasionally crosses into outright threats, at which point it stops being sport and starts being a police report.
Example Usage
The point guard's smack talk was so loud that the referee had to issue a warning.
