Definition
A somewhat outdated term meaning someone is intellectually sluggish, takes forever to understand simple concepts, or just isn't the sharpest tool in the shed. It's the diplomatic way to call someone slow.
Example Usage
My coworker is a bit slow on the uptake, so I always have to explain everything twice.
