Definition
A foot-stomped box of audio wizardry that transforms your guitar from ordinary to transcendent—suddenly you have delay, distortion, reverb, or whatever effects the mysterious knobs promise. Basically a guitarist's second-favorite toy after the guitar itself.
Example Usage
He stepped on his reverb pedal to create that washed-out, dreamy sound.
