Definition
A deliberately constructed ecosystem of humans (and bots pretending to be humans) connected for mutual benefit, information sharing, or the illusion of being important. Networks are where deals happen, intel spreads, and people spend four hours a week pretending they're 'just checking in' with their contacts.
Example Usage
His entire career was built on the strength of his networks—he knew everyone worth knowing, and everyone owed him a favor.
