Definition
A musical symbol (♮) that annoys music students everywhere by showing up to say 'psych, forget that sharp or flat we mentioned three bars ago.' It's the reset button of musical notation, canceling out accidentals and confusing everyone who hasn't memorized every rule of music theory.
Example Usage
The composer placed a natural sign before the F to cancel the F-sharp from the key signature in that specific measure.
