Definition
When a character in a game or story is suspiciously aware they can respawn, reload, or break the laws of reality—basically breaking the fourth wall without technically knowing they're in a game. Self-aware gameplay meets philosophical dread.
Example Usage
The protagonist rushed the boss without healing items; it's like they had meta-sense about the respawn mechanic.
