Definition
A climbing maneuver where you haul yourself up and over a ledge by pushing down hard with your hands, essentially becoming a damp amphibian escaping a pool; the parkour move that separates the casually fit from the genuinely athletic.
Example Usage
I couldn't quite mantle the four-foot wall, so I hung there questioning my upper body strength and every life decision.
