Definition

In tech, the graceful (or ungraceful) process of a system or connection getting progressively worse before complete failure. It's the digital equivalent of a car that knows it's dying but keeps dragging itself forward anyway, usually while your SLA (Service Level Agreement) quietly weeps.

Example Usage

We experienced signal degradation on the server last night, so queries that normally took 50ms were taking 5 seconds.
