Definition
Fancy enclosed spaces where either justice happens (or money gets spent on lawyers—basically the same thing), OR exclusive social circles where powerful people gather to scheme in expensive clothes. Could be a tennis court, but usually it's where your fate is decided by someone in a robe.
Example Usage
She lobbied extensively at court to gain the favor of the queen, a strategy far more effective than her legal arguments.
