Definition
When urban sprawl decides to throw a massive party and everyone just keeps building stuff nearby until you can't tell where one city ends and another begins. Economists use this fancy word to describe metropolitan areas that have merged into one glorious, traffic-jammed megacity. It's basically suburbia's way of saying 'we're all interconnected now, whether we like it or not.'
Example Usage
The Tokyo agglomeration is so massive that commuting an hour barely gets you to the edge of the urban area.
